We are honoured to be the British Science Association Science and the Arts Section Presidents of 2026. We will be giving our Presidential lecture and screening of our work entitled Entangled Futures at the British Science Festival on the 18th September 2026.

Our lecture explores efforts to untangle the complexity of the natural world, while highlighting compelling instances where embracing entanglement may offer a brighter future. By combining poetic visual language with scientific research, we present insights from our creative digital arts projects that invite audiences to reflect on their place within complex ecological networks. We ask how embracing complexity – rather than imposing order – might help reshape our entangled futures, and support healthier forms of coexistence with that which we often consider separate from ourselves.
